Seattle Times, 22 Mar 2012 - State Budget Staff Crunched Numbers in an Attempt to See How Much a State Marijuana Monopoly Might Bring In. A marijuana-legalization initiative on the November ballot could raise at least $560 million a year in new taxes - well more than double what the Initiative 502 campaign itself had predicted.
