The Herald, 08 Jan 2012 - Initiative 502 is an initiative to the Legislature that would legalize, tax and regulate marijuana under Washington state law. It would authorize the Liquor Control Board to license Washington businesses to produce and sell limited quantities of marijuana to adults 21 and over.
